For me, it’s relaxing to just waves with my fingers at this
point. I do it constantly, not just to practice because it’s muscle memory. I’ll
do it when I need to relax. A lot of my friends enjoy seeing light shows so
much they say it’s relaxing to watch, like watching fireworks. At this point,
the feeling of waving my fingers is like meditation to me, it’s how I relax and
I hope that one of you can turn this hobby into a form of meditation.

Where to bring your gloves O.o
No lie, I bring my gloves everywhere I go in case a friend
wants a light show or some random stranger seems… happy enough to enjoy one. It’s
just a casual thing I bring around now. For you! I suggest bringing them to a
party people always find it interesting and it’s a great conversation starter.
But if you really want to show off your skills or just screw around an EMD concert
or show would be the best place to bring them. You’ll find the most people
there with them and it’s the best atmosphere for them.
The Spread of Gloving.
When ever you go to a show you can find people with the
light up gloves. A lot of people don’t always know how to do the fancy tricks
but they just wear them for fun. It is starting to become a trend at shows for
people to wear them. It’s always fun to go to shows and show kids the potential
that they can do with gloves and all the fancy tricks. It’s like a small community
that has evolved from a few kids who could wave their hands around to people,
doing it as a dance, and it’s still growing!
Why i Glove
I have to be honest with everyone this is a very… oh how do
you say strange hobby. A lot of people ask me why I learned how to do it and I just
say the same usual thing: I shrug and say the same thing “I don’t know it’s
kind of fun”. I do it because it’s like a hobby and to be honest at this point
muscle memory. I love to go to shows and give people who are up on cloud nine a
show and see how they become amazed at the tricks. It’s a lot of fun to see a
light show and it’s not the most famous thing in the world so why not help
spread it around to people. Find you’re reason for gloving and embrace it!
IT’S DOUBLE LIGHT SHOW ALL THEWAY!
Just as a fun little thing I have meet up with some other
kids at my college who glove and I have been able to practice a lot; I hope you’re
all practicing if you’re trying to learn! We started looking up double light
shows which is when two people work together to make a show. It takes a lot of
practice to learn how to do it and both people need to be in perfect sync. It’s
a lot of fun to do and I strongly suggest that you should convince a friend to
try gloving and try to give a double light show.
This is amazing well coordinated and shows off the discipline
that it takes to master this. Although as a fun side note try to find the error
in the video, :D and practice with someone.
My Heros
There are some glovers that get sponsored by companies who
make gloves to advertise the gloves in videos and at concerts. I love to watch these
videos because they can show a person new tricks that can be built off of and
can show a person good songs to give lightshows to. One of my personal
favorites is Gummy the bunny. He doesn’t do too many fancy tricks but he puts
on one hell of a show with perfect flow.

If you want to see something fancy then Stunna’s your guy.
He can do some mind blowing tricks that I have never seen before.
MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!
:DDDDDDDDDDD This is my absolute favorite part of
lightshows. You can use almost every genre of music for lightshows but
obviously there are some genres that work better than others. For beginners you
should stick to EDM music like house, dubstep, and trap. They are the easiest
to give a lightshow to. For house I suggest you use anything made after the
Martin Garix song animals because of the style he made it changed house and
added fun features to the songs. Any type of dubstep will work you just have to
know how the drop sounds and be able to keep up with the wubs. Trap is always
fun but might be a challenge because of the off beats.
